The Embassy and Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka together with several other Embassies and Permanent Missions participated in the UNWG International Festive Charity Bazaar 2022, organized by the United Nations Women’s Guild in Vienna on 3 December 2022.
The annual event held after a lapse of two years was attended by over 35 embassies and permanent missions based in Vienna.
The event organized to raise funds for children’s charity programmes worldwide.
As in the past, Sri Lanka together with National Crafts Council, Sri Lanka Tea Board, Ear Cone Sole Agent and Candle Exporter, Ceylon Star and Basilru was able to promote and position Ceylon tea, handicrafts and culinary diplomacy in Vienna.
The fashion and cultural performances by young artists enthralled the visitors.
